» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Rome v. Holy Land

If you were to ask the average Catholic where he/she would like to go in order to connect with and/or rejuvenate or inspire his/her faith, the answer would probably be Rome. Correct?

Yet, speaking as a non-Catholic Christian, I think most evangelicals would answer the Holy Land.

I don't mean this to sound like a "My denomination is better than yours" comment, but don't you think a trip to the Holy Land (to walk in the footsteps of Jesus) would be more inspirational - or at least should be more inspirational - than a trip to the Vatican?

Maybe I'm incorrect in my impression that Catholics prefer Rome to the Holy Land. If so.....please correct me. I am not making any accusations here. Just curious.

Thanks.
