We have monthly business meetings at our church, in which we provide to every member present a written report of ALL expenditures - every single check (how much, to whom it was written, etc) documented. There are no secrets - including how much they pay me as the pastor. My salary is out there for everyone to see. But, as uncomfortable as that might be, it's good accountability.
